MAJESTIC ON
THE ‘’Majestic ‘’?
After
having waited 4.5 hrs in Barcelona harbour, we finally were able to board the
Majestic !
It wasn’t
15h but 16h30 when the boat finally cruised off destination Tangier…
After
having checked in to our cabins we set out to discover what the boat had to
offer. The boys wanted to see the inside swimming pool but this turned out to
be closed with a fishing net covering the basin and the surrounding area had
been overtaken by many men sitting, smoking, playing cards, and discussing
their daily lives.
So off we
went to see the lounge as we were longing for a cool drink. The lounge and bar
area were just opening and we were lucky to find a spot to sit down as many had reserved their spot already for
the night even it seemed, as cool bags and duvets could be spotted everywhere
around us.
The boys
set out to the game room but not for long as this was closed down for technical
problems. Thank god for their PSP’s although they had had their share during
the long wait earlier…
The day
seemed to take ages to pass as much was closed down on the boat.
Crisis???? We set off to check out
another lounge in the front of the boat. The sea seemed to have played up a bit
and walking wasn’t as easy anymore. The Royal Lounge turned out to be a massive
playground for the kids, jumping up and down and running around the place. We
sat there for a while to take it all in including the music and the youthful
animation.
Then
dinnertime arrived and after that we headed off to the cabins to rest after a
long day…
The next
day we spent most of the time on the outside decks. There were no benches
present at all and plastic chairs were scarce. The wait for the Moroccan
harbour to appear was long…..
The so-called
“Majestic “ finally docked at 18h with 4
hours of delay. Luckily Customs went smooth and off we drove on Moroccan
territory! Our adventure had begun!
